NHL Vet now Coaching in Barrie

NHL veteran goalie Dan Cloutier is most remembered for his time in Vancouver from 2000 to 2006.

Now he’s behind the bench — as the goalie coach for the OHL’s Barrie Colts.

I spoke with Cloutier, and asked him how he got the job in Barrie.

Baseball Canada on the state of the sport up north.

It’s hard to believe with the cold temperatures were seeing, but Major League Baseball Spring Training is now getting underway in Florida.

And Canadian Joey Votto’s National League MVP win, and Lou Marsh award are still fresh on the minds of sports fans.

With that in mind, I spoke with Jim Baba, the director General of Baseball Canada, asking about what effect Votto’s performance will have on young kids signing up to play baseball in Canada.
